Stepping Stone Preschool
- Children ages 3 and 4
"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." (Psalm 24:1). Our youngest students at Stepping Stone Preschool enjoy an environment of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery. We're teaching our students to make the world a better place, to build God's kingdom.
Our Preschool is in its 20th year of providing a quality preschool experience to children in our communities. The preschool’s purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development in an atmosphere of Christian nurturing. Effective the 2004-2005 school year, Stepping Stone Preschool became part of the Whitinsville Christian School. Stepping Stone Preschool is located just a short distance from Whitinsville Christian School's main building on the lower level of Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church, 25 Cross Street, Whitinsville, MA.
Stepping Stone's curriculum includes circle times, stories, songs and fingerplays, creative art and craft activities, outdoor play, large muscle activities, field trips throughout the community, cooking, science and nature activities, exposure to shapes, colors, numbers and letters, and celebrations of birthdays and holidays. Stepping Stone has added a Christian-based curriculum to its program in the 2006-2007 school year.
