Introduction & History of Philosophy
This course will examine the major aspects of philosophy (metaphysics, epistemology and ethics) and the history and flow of philosophy in order to understand the major figures and movements in Western thought. This class will be taught in a seminar format with readings, discussions and writing being the main focus. Students will be challenged to consider how the “Great thoughts” compare and contrast to a Christian world-view.
