Music Composition II
Students will work on advanced independent compositions, as requested or approved by the teacher. Students will be expected to compose major works of at least 64 measures, and to be able to write for any instrument in the modern orchestra. The art of film scoring and film music will be examined at length and in detail. Students must receive at least an 80% or higher in Music Composition I and be self-motivated, independent workers.
Elective: 2.5 credits
Prerequisite: 80% or higher in Music Composition I
