Basic Keyboarding
Students who are new to our school, or who have not successfully completed our eighth grade Keyboarding requirement, must take this course prior to advancing to Computer Applications I. Students in this course will learn the touch system of keyboarding. Students achieve key stroking skills appropriate for personal and academic use. Basic skills of spelling, proofreading and punctuation should also improve as the student learns the proper keyboarding techniques. No course credit is given for this class.
Required in Middle School or Grade 9 - (Pass/Fail)
