Tutoring and Academic Support Services
Our academic support programs in the high school are designed to provide students with a wide range of academic assistance. It is designed to provide students with additional academic support outside of the traditional student teacher relationship. Programs are implemented when the guidance department and administration feel they are appropriate and necessary.
Discovery Assistance – for students who need to continue with additional support
Study Skills course – for students who may need help with organizational skills as well as strategies and techniques for better ways to study and take notes
Tutoring – Peer and adult tutoring is available
Friday Reports – for students who need extra guidance and help from home
Academic Crisis Intervention – strategies and solutions will be introduced to help the student and parent solve the issues surrounding the crisis.
