Discrete Math
This course will include a number of topics not addressed in Algebra II, Trigonometry or Pre calculus. Topics will include voting methods, fair division of property, financial mathematics, fractals, probability and statistics, and graph theory. A TI-83/TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus, or a TI-Nspire CAS handheld calculator is required for this course. Occasionally, groups of students will work on projects that apply the mathematics to practical situations.
