COLLEGE PREVIEWS 

Nursing Schools EXPO.  A Nursing Schools EXPO and reception on Monday, Nov. 2, 4-8 p.m., at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Lobby in Worcester.  The event is sponsored by the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium and the UMass Worcester Graduate School of Nursing.  Programs in nursing at the following schools will be represented:  Anna Maria College, Atlantic Union College, Becker College, Fitchburg State College, Framingham State Colege, Mass. College of Pharmacy and Health Services, Mount Wachusett Community College, Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester State College, and UMass Worcester Graduate School of Nursing.  If you are interested in attending, please stop by Guidance and let Mrs. Allen know or email her at ballen@wcs.mec.edu.

UMass-Lowell Open House.  Students and their families are invited to an Open House on Sunday, Nov. 1, 8:30 a.m., in the Tsongas Arena on the campus of UMass-Lowell for a quick but comprehensive look at the life of  the school and its programs, activities and student services. There will be an opportunity to talk with faculty and current students and to tour the campus and a residence hall. For more information call 800-410-4608.

Service Academy Night.  Those interested in exploring their educational and career opportunities with U.S. service academies are invited to attend the 19th annual Service Academy Night on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers, MA.  A congressional staff member will be on hand to discuss the federal academy appointment and nomination process.  As well, representatives from the following schools and services will be attending:
