Choir
This course is designed for all students in grades 9-12 who enjoy singing. Skills are taught to equip students for a lifetime of service to God and for personal enjoyment. The choir participates in school chapels, concerts, local church services, and offers a spring tour to those who audition successfully. Grading is based on classroom participation, mastery of assigned music, and mandatory attendance at concerts.
Elective-1.25 credits
Prerequisite: Personal interviews (singing) to determine ability and voice part.
Choir tour requirements:
· Enrollment in choir all year except if taking a required course first semester
· Pass a solo audition
· Minimum 1.5 grade average
· Complete all service hour requirements
· Contribute approximately $125-150 towards tour expenses
