Biblical Palestine: Lessons from the Holy Land
This course will lead students through a cultural, geographical, historical and spiritual journey into Biblical Palestine. Students will become familiar with the land in which God’s people lived and the lessons God taught them in it. Old and New Testament stories and passages studied will come to have a much fuller meaning for students when various contexts are explored. This is not just a history or geography lesson, for the lessons God taught his people back in Biblical times relate powerfully to us today. As God’s chosen people today, how are we to live in the land in which God has placed us?
