Accounting II
This course will help to prepare students who are interested in pursuing careers in accounting, finance or business management. Students will have an opportunity to work with companies organized as partnerships and corporations; they will learn to deal with cash, short term investments, accounts and notes receivable; manage property, plan and equipment assets; analyze and interpret financial statements. Students will work with both manual and computerized accounting systems. The great percentage of our society’s work force engaged in business careers indicates the importance of preparing students for participation in this part of God’s kingdom. Christian businessmen and women are greatly needed as a light to our world. Accounting is the language of business. Accounting II will help prepare students for business related college majors or for immediate employment as general bookkeepers or specialized accounting clerks.
