Middle School: Grades 6-8
The middle school currently has over 160 students. Whitinsville Christian
School is a member of Christian
Schools International, and is fully accredited by the New
England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Young adolescents are
at a crucial stage of their development as they prepare for the
future in a world that is
always changing. Our middle school has as its foundation the
infallible Word of God as interpreted by the confessional standards
of the
Reformed faith. The goal of
education here at WCMS is to help students achieve life's purpose:
to know and serve God.
Our dedicated, caring Christian faculty encourages middle school students
move toward greater independence, taking responsibility for themselves
and ownership of their actions and education.
Our middle school students consistently rank between the 80th and 95th
percentile in the IOWA tests. Each year, a number of our students
are eligible to take early
SATs and this year, six students earned a Mark
of Distinction for receiving scores that were equal to or exceeded
the average score of all
college-bound seniors in either one or both of the SAT tests.
Core middle school classes include:
- Bible
- English (Language Arts, Reading)
- Math
- History/Geography
- Life Science/Earth Science
- General Science
