Elementary School: Grades K-5
Our Elementary School currently has 207 students
in grades K-5. Whitinsville Christian School is a member
of Christian Schools International,
and is fully accredited by the New
England Association of Schools and Colleges.
We offer full-day kindergarten classes as well as a PreSchool
Program.
Our curriculum includes Bible, a
phonics and skills based reading program, a hands-on math program,
social studies, science, language arts, map skills, art, music, and
physical education. Weekly library instruction is provided for all
grades, and Spanish is offered in grades 3-5. We also have a discovery
program for students with identified learning disabilities.
Our caring Christian faculty are qualified
professionals devoted to preparing students for service to God
and their neighbors in every
area of life. Elementary activities include student-led chapels,
an annual Read-a-thon, and a
summer reading program.
Our elementary school has as its foundation the infallible
Word of God as interpreted by the confessional standards of the
Reformed faith. The goal of education here at WCHS is to help students achieve
life's purpose: to know and serve God.
Mary Masselink is
the assistant elementary school principal.
